Accounting Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 7 -10 years accounting experience. Applicant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient with Microsoft Navision accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational and management skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department and manage Treasury functions
  • Prepare and publish monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs and variances
  • Regularly audit and review subsidiary ledgers for reconciliation to the GL including accounts payable, inventory and accounts receivable
  • Responsible for fixed asset additions, deletions, and depreciation schedules balanced to month-end financials
  • Coordinate and direct the accounting for payroll including bonus and commissions
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting as required by bank, ensuring covenants are met
  • Maintain loan amortization schedules and capital lease schedules
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place, i.e. policies, procedures
  • Assist in IT initiatives
  • Assist in integration of Company acquisitions
  • Special projects as assigned to accomplish department/company goals

Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years Account Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position at a medium size company. Applicant will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principals and be proficient with Microsoft Navision accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both paper and over the phone, as he or she will frequently deal with Customers and Company management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Make daily collection calls, including follow-up with customers when expected payment has not been received
  • Conduct account research and analysis
  • Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
  • Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and ACH transactions and entering them into the financial system
  • Maintain a collections file detailing customer communications and expected payment dates
  • Maintain an accurate aging report and assist in resolving discrepancies with customers on outstanding issues and problem accounts
  • Review aging reports and initiate calls to customers with past-due balances to arrange for payment
  • Analyze receivables data for customers. Provide A/R statements of open aging and copies of open invoices for customers as needed
  • Establish strong working relationship with customer A/P contacts or designated person to approve payment.
  • Assist with forecast of cash collections, evaluating and escalating issues to management.
  • Follow department procedures for month-end processing, maintenance of shared files, and communications.
  • Process/verify applications for credit for new customers
  • Special projects as assigned to accomplish department/company goals.

IT Specialist - Richmond, VA

We need a subject matter expert to serve as our in-house IT infrastructure and project specialist. The successful candidate will serve two functions within the company. First, he or she must coordinate between the company and external vendors and contractors about IT-related infrastructure and development; and second, the IT Specialist will consult with our in-house and remote staff to coordinate technology optimization projects. We’re looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can work with numerous teams and software platforms to help drive companywide process improvement and automation through technology.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The responsibilities and duties listed below represents some of the key functions this position will perform on a regular basis,

  • Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
  • Review and monitor SQL based software systems on daily/weekly basis for proper operation and backup
  • Periodically perform full functional test of back-up and disaster recovery plan and document results in accordance with company policy
  • Assist with the development, documentation and training efforts surrounding company information technology policies and procedures
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
  • Assist with evaluation and implementation of any needed software implementations in accordance with corporate technology optimization efforts
  • Coordinate the needs of in-house and remote employees, vendors and contractors

Senior CAD Designer, Level III - Richmond, VA

Independently uses Autodesk CAD, 3D Modeling and PDF manipulation software to provide support to engineers, operations, salesmen, general contractors, architects and customers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, prototypes and diagrams. Provide detailed designs to include all views, diagrams, specification information and dimensions necessary for product installation and manufacturing. Creates and maintains a database of plots and all information regarding changes/iterations to drawings. Works independently to make decisions for various project types and collaborates with salesmen, engineers or supervisor. A solid engineering skill set and knowledge of drafting principles, product design, architecture, production, fabrication techniques and familiarity with engineering and architectural standards. Requires exceptional mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete complex mathematical calculations. Accredited degree/certification in Engineering and Building Materials is preferred. Expert level in computer aided drafting, math, physics, architecture, architectural design and 3D Modeling.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Uses computer assisted design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software to develop designs for efficient installation and material optimization.
  • Possess a high level of product knowledge to independently create system designs consistent with industry requirements.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various architectural, engineering, and mathematical principles, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
  • Develop detailed multi-view drawings and designs of products to industry standards.

Field Service Technicians

Positions available in:

  • West Palm Beach, FL
  • Brockton, MA

Candidate will have an Alarm or Electrical license in addition to extensive experience with IP CCTV and an understanding of local codes and cabling.  Proficiency required with regard to installation, wiring and troubleshooting alarm and video systems including DMP, Bosch, Pacom, Verint, March and Exacqvision.

80% Physical and 20% Electronics.
Recent Technical School graduate.

Designed a UL listed vault system for a jewelry distribution center where the vault door was mounted waist-high to accommodate a conveyor running through the vault.

Completed the largest multi-unit modular vault project ever undertaken, an installation of 64 modular vaults at an undisclosed U.S. military base.
